Who is Xcel?

Founded in 1982, Xcel International, Inc. (Xcel) is a global brand distributed throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific Rim. Headquartered on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, Xcel's core wetsuit business focuses on the cutting edge of material and design development. We develop technical product for all conditions and pride ourselves on the highest quality construction and fit. Xcel's primary markets include surf, paddle, UV (sun-protective apparel), and dive.

In addition to its North Shore office, Xcel has retail locations on Oahu and the outer islands; and a warehouse/repair facility in California.

Does Xcel only make wetsuits?

In addition to wetsuits, Xcel offers a full line of UV Performance Gear (stretch fabric sun-protective apparel for all outdoor sports); boardshorts; t-shirts and outerwear; wetsuit accessories, including boots and gloves; and much more for men, women, and youth.

How do I find the right wetsuit for me?

Xcel offers a wide range of wetsuits for all shapes, sizes, and conditions. Key elements of construction and materials used in Xcel's wetsuits are explained under PRODUCTS. You may also use our SIZE CHART (also under PRODUCTS), to help you with fit.

Does Xcel publish a product catalog?

Currently Xcel does not publish a retail product catalog. For the most up-to-date Xcel product information, please visit PRODUCTS.

What are Xcel's product warranties? Can I send my wetsuit/product in to be repaired?

At Xcel we pride ourselves on the highest quality construction and fit. The following warranties apply per product category, under normal recreational use and proper care, on materials and workmanship from the original purchase date.

Xcel is the only party authorized to determine warranty eligibility. Products under warranty will be evaluated for repair or replacement at Xcel's sole discretion. Submitting an online warranty claim form does not guarantee repair or replacement.

PRODUCT WARRANTIES BY PRODUCT CATEGORY

Wetsuits:
• 1 YEAR on all seams
• 1 YEAR on neoprene

"UV" (Stretch UPF50+ and Ventx Products):
• 3 MONTHS

"Accessories" (Boots, Gloves, Hoods/Caps/Vests):
• 3 MONTHS

Apparel:
• 3 MONTHS

THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY:
• Repairs or alterations done by anyone other than an authorized Xcel repair facility.
• Products classified as seconds or samples.
• Damage from sunlight; improper recreational use or care; or any damage beyond the product's natural life expectancy.
• Warranty request without proof of purchase.
• UV, Accessories, or Apparel over 3 months from date of purchase.

FOR SIZE EXCHANGES: If you wish to exchange your product for a different size, please contact the dealer where your purchase was made. Xcel will not accept product sent in for size exchange.

CARE: Rinse with fresh water and hang to dry on a plastic or wooden hanger in the shade; occasionally rinse in sudsy water.
