Who is Xcel?
Founded in 1982, Xcel International, Inc. (Xcel) is a global wetsuit brand distributed throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific Rim. Headquartered on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, Xcel's core wetsuit business focuses on the cutting edge of material and design development. Xcel's primary markets include surf, dive, wakeboard, paddle, and UV (sun-protective apparel).
In addition to its North Shore office, Xcel has retail locations on Oahu, Kauai, and Maui; and a warehouse/repair facility in California.
Does Xcel only make wetsuits?
In addition to wetsuits, Xcel offers a full line of UV Performance Gear (stretch fabric apparel for all outdoor sports); boardshorts; t-shirts and outerwear; wetsuit accessories, including boots and gloves; and much more for men, women, and youth.

How do I find the right wetsuit for me?
Xcel offers a wide range of wetsuits for all body types, sizes, and conditions. Key elements of construction and materials used in Xcel's wetsuits are explained in the PRODUCTS page on our Web site. You may also use our SIZE CHART, also found under PRODUCTS, to help you with fit.
Does Xcel publish a product catalog?
Currently Xcel does not publish a retail product catalog. For the most up-to-date Xcel product information, please visit the PRODUCTS section on our Web site.
What are Xcel's product warranties? Can I send my wetsuit/product in to be repaired?
At Xcel we pride ourselves on the highest quality construction and fit. The following warranties apply per product category, under normal recreational use and proper care, on material and workmanship from the original purchase date.
Product Warranties Per Product Category
Wetsuits:
• 1 YEAR on all seams
• 1 YEAR on neoprene
Lycra Products:
• 3 MONTHS
Boots, Gloves, Wake Vests, Hoods:
• 3 MONTHS
Self repair voids warranty. Xcel is the only party authorized to determine warranty eligibility.
For Repairs: Return to nearest authorized dealer. If none, call Xcel first for an RA# and shipping instructions. A dated proof of purchase receipt will be required. Products under warranty will be repaired or replaced free of charge; otherwise you will be contacted.
Care: Rinse with fresh water and hang to dry on a plastic or wooden hanger in the shade; occasionally rinse in sudsy water.

Does Xcel have a team, and will you consider me for sponsorship?
Xcel has surf teams on both Hawaii and the mainland, as well as a paddle team in Hawaii, and a wake team on the mainland.
In order to be considered for sponsorship by Xcel, please e-mail your name, location, and sport to us at info@xcelwetsuits.com. Be sure to mention you are submitting a team inquiry.
What is the Xcel Pro?
The Xcel Pro is a 2-Star ASP WQS contest, drawing amateurs and seasoned professionals to Sunset Beach, one of the world’s best surf venues along Oahu’s North Shore.
Can I post photos and videos on Xcel's Web site?
Customers and authorized Xcel dealers are invited to submit photographs and short video clips to be posted in the GALLERY sections of our Web site.
All submitted photos should be relevant to Xcel (showcasing an Xcel product or product; or team rider), and must adhere to these requirements:
Photographs: JPEG file format; at least 500 pixels wide; 72 dpi
Video Clips: 640x480 pixel Quicktime or MPEG4 file formats; maximum 2 minutes in length
Submissions should be sent to Xcel directly via e-mail at info@xcelwetsuits.com. Submission of your photo or video is by contribution and does not guarantee posting on our Web site.
Does Xcel have an e-mail list? How do I join?
Xcel distributes e-newsletters including the latest news and happenings, in-store sales, and special events. To join Xcel's e-mail list, write to us at info@xcelwetsuits.com with a valid e-mail address. You will then be included on all future e-newsletters from Xcel.
