Adam Goldstone

Surfing has given me the most enjoyment out of life. I'm always looking for an opportunity to be in the water. Out of the water, I enjoy skating or riding my bike around town.

Alex Martins

I was born in Recife, Brazil, started surfing when I was 12, and quickly got into surf competitions. I kept going until I was touring on the professional circuit and traveling around the world. However, living as a professional surfer in my hometown was difficult. In 1993, I moved to California for a change and got into surfing uncrowded, cold, heavy waves.

Ben Andrews

When I'm not surfing, I enjoy DJing with vinyl records, playing drums, mountain biking, hiking, coordinating trawl fishermen with observers (my day job), playing golf, fishing, and hanging with family and friends.

Cody Sherman

I come from a small town in San Diego called Ocean Beach. I currently attend San Diego State University. When I'm not surfing I like to play basketball and eat every scrap of food in sight.

Evan Barton

My name is Evan Barton, 20 years old, from Wrightsville Beach, NC. I love to travel, chase swells, and score waves with friends. In my spare time, I'm an active real estate broker and enjoy spearfishing and sailing.

Homer Henard

My name is Homer Henard and I love surfing! Nothing better than scoring sick waves with your friends up the coast! I love being creative - doing art, tarp surfing, and sk8ing. Life is amazing in Santa Cruz.

Isaac Stant

I was born and raised on the island of Maui. I love the lifestyle - great people, great waves, and great scenery. After pursuing an amateur contest career, I eventually started to focus on big waves. With big wave surfing, the risks are extremely high. In order to make sure I'm ready, I train at Upcountry CrossFit and stay active and in the water any chance I get.

Jamie Moran

Born and raised in the cold winters of New Jersey. I've been surfing since I was 7 years old and spend my surfing days hunting good waves at home and traveling as much as possible. I've had the good fortune of surfing taking me to some of the best places on earth and meeting some really great people along the way. I moonlight as a Web and app developer when I'm not surfing and can also be found skating, snowboarding, or long-distance paddleboarding when the waves are beat.

Jeff Lukasik

If I'm not surfing, I'm mountain biking. San Clemente has insane mount biking and it's incredible cross training. Also skating and snowboarding.

Jensen Callaway

Born and raised in south Florida, started competing surfing when I was 10, and haven't stopped since! Been traveling all my life, it's what I love to do. Some of my other hobbies are fishing, skateboarding, and training.

Jeremy Johnston

I love to surf everyday. Traveling somewhere to score good waves has got to be the best feeling in the world!

Kahea Hart

Kahea is a local North Shore standout from Haleiwa to V-Land. A certified personal trainer and owner of the North Shore Surf Clinic for surf lessons, coaching, and personal training, Kahea is also the assistant coach and trainer for the Hawaii Surf Team that won gold in Panama, May 2012.

Keith Noonan

I enjoy hanging with family and friends, working on and riding vintage motorcycles, training, and staying active.

Matt McCabe

When I'm not surfing, I'm probably fishing, eating, or trying to golf.

Mike Ciaramella

I surf everyday while going to school full time at UCSD. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't have it both ways.

Mike Gleason

If I'm not surfing I'm usually fishing. Work hard, play hard, have fun with life.

Nakoa DeCoite

God first, everything else second. I love fitness, big waves, and enjoying the ocean through performance surfing, diving, and SUP.

Noa Ginella

Grew up on the North Shore of Oahu. Professional SUP (stand up paddle) surfer / racer. Love surfing, fishing, hunting, diving, sailing, dirt biking, etc…

Paige Alms

Paige Alms is from Maui, HI. At 24 years old, she's regarded as one of the best big-wave female surfers in the world. Paige continues to live her dream, traveling the world in search of perfect waves and continuing her pursuit of riding the biggest wave ever by a woman in her own backyard, Jaws. When she isn't surfing, Paige trains in the gym to always be prepared, helps run SOS Surfboards, and enjoys life to the fullest.

Pete Polanski

Whether its skating the backyard ramp, fixing ding repairs, working out my bum knee, teaching yoga, cooking food down at the local restraunt hot spot, or catching a lil' surf while its here, I always have something going on and never seem to have enough time in the day. I glass my own surfboards nowadays, and I want CT Taylor (my shaper) to start showing me a few things in the shaping room as well so I can start building my own boards out of my ding shed. Once we build a few, the goal is to sell some and then transplant myself out to Southern California where I want to live, surf, and enjoy life.

Randy Townsend

Fishing is where I fell in love with the water as a child. I prefer to fish at night. I'm the Harvey Cedars Beach Patrol lifeguard captain and enjoy rowing Van Duyne Surf Boats in lifeguard competitions. I love my family and friends so much - they've made me who I am today. Favorite surfing maneuvers: Kerupt flip, lien airs, and getting barreled.

Ryan Seelbach

If I'm not surfing, I'm mountain biking, snowboarding, and just being away from life in SF with my girl and dog. However, I love SF and all it has to offer. I am a geologist for an environmental consulting firm in SF, so I get to see many sides of SF. Life is good.

Shawn Dollar

As a kid, Shawn was always super positive, very respectful, and a pleasure to have around. I can easily say he is one of the most positive humans I know. He put in his time for a couple of years, building his knowledge and skills riding big waves. When you watch Shawn surf big waves, you can clearly see he truly enjoys everything about the experience. During the expression session at the 2010 Mavericks competition, Shawn made worldwide surfing history, and rode at the time the biggest wave ever paddled into in the world. His 55-foot wave is still the biggest wave paddle surfed at Mavericks. - Ken Collins
