It's going to take an even greater effort than we saw from Kelly Slater in 2010 for whoever ultimately stands top of the rankings at the end of this year. If there's not at least a 10 per cent boost in the performance level it will take to capture this year's world title, I'll be surprised.

Xcel's INFINITI DRYLOCK has won "Wetsuit of the Year" once again at the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA) Image Awards, honoring the best of the surf industry from 2010.

The win was announced Thursday, February 3, 2011 during the Image Awards ceremony held at the House of Blues Anaheim.
