Maui, HII was born and raised on the island of Maui. I love the lifestyle - great people, great waves, and great scenery. After pursuing an amateur contest career, I eventually started to focus on big waves. With big wave surfing, the risks are extremely high. In order to make sure I'm ready, I train at Upcountry CrossFit and stay active and in the water any chance I get.
